Getting started
What is ClipAd?
ClipAd makes short vertical video ads from a Shopify product link. You paste the link. We write the scripts, place your real product photo into a scene, and make the video.
The ads are made with AI.
What do I need to start?
A link to one of your products. It should start with https://.
We read Shopify product pages best. On other pages we read the title and photo, and you can type the rest yourself.
You need a free account to make a preview. You don't need a card.
Free preview
How does the free preview work?
Paste your product link. You get three short scripts and three still pictures. You can also make one free 4-second clip.
You see the idea before you pay anything.
Why does my preview have a watermark?
Free previews have a watermark. HD ads don't. To get HD ads, buy the HD pack or Starter.
How many free previews can I make?
One per account and one per store. That includes the one free 4-second clip.
How long does it take?
Your free preview is usually ready in under a minute. Keep the page open to watch it finish.
HD ads take a bit longer. We email you the moment they're ready.
Prices and credits
What is the HD pack?
$29 once for 3 HD ads. It is not a subscription, so you won't be charged again.
HD pack credits never expire.
What is Starter?
$49 a month for 8 HD ads a month. You pay at the start of each month.
Your credits reset each billing month. Unused credits don't roll over to the next month.
How do credits work?
One credit makes one HD ad.
Each HD render makes up to 3 ads of one product, each from a different angle. It uses one credit per ad. If you have fewer credits, it makes fewer ads.
If an HD ad fails, its credit comes back to your account on its own.
If you have both, Starter credits are used before HD pack credits.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes. You can buy an HD pack at any time from your dashboard.
Which one should I pick?
If you only need a few ads, the HD pack is one payment of $29. If you make ads every month, Starter gives you 8 new credits each month. Both make the same HD ads.
Your videos
What do I get?
Vertical 9:16 video, tall like a phone screen. Made for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
HD ads are 1080p (1080 × 1920) MP4 files. Each one is about 5 seconds long and ends with a card that shows your product, price and link.
The videos have no sound and no voice. The words are captions on screen. You can add music in TikTok or Instagram.
Download each ad from your dashboard with "Download HD".
Do you use my real product photo?
Yes. We keep your product photo and place it into a scene before the video is made. That way the label isn't redrawn by AI.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Ask within 7 days of a payment and you get a full refund. No questions asked.
This covers the HD pack and each monthly Starter payment.
Reply to your receipt email or write to support@clipad.co. The money goes back to the card or account you paid with.
What if an HD ad fails or looks wrong?
If an HD ad fails to finish, its credit comes back to your account on its own.
If an ad finishes but looks wrong, email support@clipad.co. Tell us the product link and what went wrong. Add a screenshot if you can.
AI and labels
Are ClipAd videos made with AI?
Yes. They may look like a customer video, but no real customer or creator filmed them.
Do I need to label my ads as AI-made?
You can burn the words "AI-generated" onto the preview and the HD ads. It is on by default.
You are responsible for following the rules of each platform where you run ads. TikTok and Meta both have rules for AI-made ads, and they change. Check them before you publish.
Don't present the AI-made hand or person as a real customer giving a real review.

Billing
How do I pay?
In Stripe Checkout, in US dollars. You pay before we make the HD ads. There is no extra charge after.
Can I get a receipt?
Yes. We email a receipt after each payment. You can also open it from the Billing part of your dashboard.
I think I was charged twice.
Email support@clipad.co with your account email and the date and amount of each charge. We'll look into it.
Cancelling Starter
How do I cancel Starter?
Open your dashboard and click "Manage subscription". That opens the Stripe billing page, where you can cancel.
What happens to my credits when I cancel?
Your plan runs until the end of the month you paid for. When it ends, unused Starter credits end too.
HD pack credits stay in your account and never expire.
Can I get this month's money back?
If you paid in the last 7 days, yes. You get a full refund. No questions asked.
Account and contact
How do I log in?
With your email and password. Or ask for a sign-in link by email on the log-in page.
Will you send me marketing email?
Only if you ticked the box for it when you signed up. The box starts empty.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe without logging in.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@clipad.co from the email on your account.
